This gumball machine lock and key set may be compatible with many gumball and candy machine brands.
It is important when ordering a replacement lock and key set to match the lock and key up with the one that your machine uses rather than just by matching pictures of the overall gumball machine to the one that you have as there are several different manufacturers with similar designs and their parts are not always interchangeable. You are always welcome to contact us before ordering to get instructions about how to be sure our parts will match your machine.
When it comes to identifying the type of lock and key that your machine uses, one thing to look at is the size and shape of the lock and how it engages with your gumball machine. These locks have a raised beveled top surface that extends from the top lid of your gumball machine. The lock itself engages the lid or cash box with two flat sides cut out of the otherwise cylindrical threading on the outside of the lock body. However, even if at this point the situation looks like the lock matches your machine, there may still be a mismatch.
Once you have identified the type of lock that your machine needs, you need to identify the key code. The key code is a number stamped into the metal of the key.
This lock and key set is only available as a set. It includes only one (1) lock and one (1) key. If you have an existing gumball or candy machine and do not know your key code, you will need to drill out your existing lock and replace it with the new one (detailed instructions on drilling out a lock can be found on our blog).
